Undeniably FOOD is the one thing that brings us all together. 'Alla Carta' is a new magazine started by a bunch of relentlessly cool kids from Milano who really believe in paper, carta in Italian. At a time when the web appears to be the only valid avenue of communication, Alla Carta has created the most beautiful celebration of this old school medium. They interview people over food...and drinks of course. The idea is to get people to open up and have honest conversations about all sorts of topics: from personal issues to politics and sources of inspiration. The magazine manages to relate food to our life through our memories, the way designers approach their creative process...food is the point of departure but the journey they take us on through each page is incredibly diverse and beautifully shot.
