Daria Petrilli, born in 1970, lives and works in Rome. Freelance illustrator in the field of editorial representations, she publishes both in Italy and in the international market. The artist's work can be seen in advertising campaigns, books, covers, packaging, school and encyclopedic illustrations. Active for years in the publishing world, Daria designs for many publishing houses, including: De Agostini, Fatatrac, RCS, Giunti, Blodaxe Books, Helbling, Motus, Oxford Publishing Scholastic, Paramond, Tai Chen and Bloodaxebooks, Oprah Winfrey Magazine. The Roman illustrator has received numerous awards during her artistic career, such as the Accademia Pictor Award in Turin, 2006-2007-2008. She is a member of the Italian Association of Illustrators, as well as the winner of Awards in recognition of her work from 2005 to 2008. The work of Daria Petrilli has been, and is, present in national and international exhibitions; the artist has participated in numerous competitions: from Bologna to Teheran, from Turin to Lisbon. Her plates are published in limited series of Fine Art. Petrilli's creative ability to create harmonious ensemble has allowed the illustrator to design fashion collections and dress product lines for prestigious companies such as Shiseido. Daria in 2021 has created the covers for Einaudi and Rizzoli and was coauthor for Bompiani, for which she illustrated the Atlas of Haunted Places, written by Giulio D'Antona.
