Ana Kraš

Ana Kraš was born in Belgrade, Serbia, in 1984.
 She studied interior architecture and furniture design at the University of Applied Arts in Belgrade, graduating in 2007. In 2008, she participated in the Salone Internazionale for the first time as part of a group show, presenting her diploma project, the Hug Chair. Since then, she has exhibited at Maison et Objet in Paris, Vienna Design Week, Belgrade Design Week, and Budapest Design Week, and contributed to group and solo exhibitions across the globe. Kraš has collaborated with Maison Martin Margiela, Confetti System, Super Sunglasses, and Etudes Studio. Her aesthetic is simple, elegant, and craft-driven. Notable projects include the Bonbon Lamps, a colorful lighting series composed of hand-wrapped yarn over wire frames.

Kraš moved to Los Angeles in 2010. In 2012, she moved her studio to New York, where she continues to work on personal and commissioned projects.
